Performing Lab Testing

The Working Clinic™ also helps drive down certain laboratory testing costs.  By performing certain tests on-site, not only do you save costs, but time as well.  One FREE annual biometric screening is provided to each individual served by the clinic.  If an employee requires additional testing during the year, these additional tests are offered at a very low cost.

Certain blood tests can be completed at the clinic for no cost, or a very, very low cost.  All equipment is CLIA waived and meets our clinic standards.  These additional services further lower the employer’s costs and provide a high level of service to the employees.  Health risk assessment tools are also available and often help the employee better understand their health trajectory.

Additional Services

Additional health, medical, and occupational services can be provided through The Working Clinic™.  For example, the cost of drug testing employees can be significantly reduced by performing these in the on-site clinic.  Drug testing due to reasonable suspicion, random testing, as well as post-accident screenings can all be completed by the on-site clinic.  In many states, the timely completion of post-accident drug testing can be used to deny worker’s compensation benefits to employees under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol at the time of their injury.  A positive drug test can be sent to a certified lab for further confirmation.
